"Tierra del Monte is already working with transnational companies to provide them with Peruvian Pink Salt."
Given the growing trend of consumers for healthy products, more and more companies are opting to launch products with natural inputs. In this line, the Peruvian company Tierra del Monte is already working with transnational companies to provide them with Peruvian Pink Salt (Maras Pink Salt) for the production of food and beverages.
“We already have an alliance with a local company that will launch a beverage with this input; we are working with a renowned snack company from the USA and another candy company from Costa Rica, which will also use Peruvian Pink Salt (Maras Pink Salt) to produce new products,” he said.
Francesco Canchari said that they are looking to reach new markets such as Panama with their Maras Gourmet brand. Today they already reach 18 countries.
And in the case of its Gourmet Coffee Kuntu, they plan to reach Australia and enter supermarkets in the country. They already reach U.S. supermarkets and specialized stores in Peru.
ARRIVAL TO RETAIL
Another of Tierra del Monte’s bets in the country is its entry into the retail channel with a store.
Thus, they recently opened their first Maras Gourmet store in the “La Fontana”
shopping center in La Molina; and they plan to add a second store at the end of the year, which would
be located in Miraflores and Barranco, said the executive.
