“Healthy products... such as
Peruvian Pink Salt, Organic Quinoa and Organic Raw Sugar.”

The Peruvian company that markets and exports products that use Peruvian Pink Salt (Maras Pink Salt) as an input, is going for more in the local and foreign markets.

Thus, its general manager, Francesco Canchari, announced that this year they will start selling their products in the Brazilian market.

And they will do so directly, since they have opened the subsidiary “Maras Gourmet Brasil” in the state of Santa Catarina.

“We are working in this country with a strategic partner, and we are going to start marketing Peruvian Pink Salt (Maras Pink Salt), as well as Kamados (portable ceramic grills) in supermarkets,” he said.

And while they were already reaching the U.S. market through distributors, now they are betting on doing it directly. “In the U.S. market we have also opened a subsidiary (Maras Gourmet LLC) to sell Maras salt, Organic Raw Sugar, Organic Quinoa, Kamados and our Coffee,” he explained.

In this line, he emphasized that they are already producing the first container of products to supply both international markets.

LOCAL MARKET
In the country, Tierra del Monte plans to compete this year in the snack market, which will have Peruvian Pink Salt (Maras Pink Salt) as an input.

And taking into account the growing demand for healthy products due to the covid-19 pandemic, they recently opted to enter with their products such as Peruvian Pink Salt, Organic Quinoa and Organic Raw Sugar, to a new sales channel, such as minimarkets.
